I'll continue to tell people the truth about Vietnam and our brave soldiers that served their Country. If I would have seen someone burn our flag, I would of bashed their head! I remember arguing with people that blamed our GI'S for the war and I told them to go spit on the elected officials that wouldn't allow our young people to win that war because they wanted to continue to make money off that mess over there. We live in a small community, so there wasn't anything radical. My wife and I actively opposed the war to bring our military people home. I lost a very close friend in Vietnam and many good friends I took care of through training. I was injured in training and I was honorably discharged with medical conditions. I never made it to Vietman and I was very upset about that at the time.
